"Modeling and Simulation" tasks include:

• Completing a detailed analysis of complex systems for which modeling and simulation will promote a better understanding of potential issues

• Developing models that will promote a clear understanding of both the operation of component parts of the system as well as the system as a whole

• Running simulations of prepared models over an extended period of time to gain greater understanding of system efficiencies, operation, and performance
